Joa

We all have the capacity to release the emotions, beliefs, and patterns that no longer serve us. When we create the right conditions for healing, we can reconnect with ourselves, find greater ease, and step into the fullest expression of who we are.

My one-to-one therapy sessions are designed to meet you exactly where you are. I offer a range of therapeutic modalities, including Integral Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT), Hypnotherapy, Parts Therapy, and Sound Healing, each providing a unique pathway to healing and personal growth.

You can choose to focus on a single therapy or experience a more integrative session that combines several approaches. Every session is tailored to your individual needs, drawing on the techniques that will best support you in that moment.

Together, we'll gently explore what's holding you back, whether that's anxiety, stress, limiting beliefs, unresolved emotions, trauma, or recurring patterns. By working with both the conscious and unconscious mind, we can create lasting shifts that help you move forward with greater freedom, resilience, and inner peace.

A cozy, rustic indoor space decorated with coastal-themed decor. It features a white wooden wall with a window and a decorative sign that reads 'HOPE COVE' above the window. There is a small white side table with a gold-tone singing bowl collection on it. An indoor gong is positioned in front of the window. On the right side, there is a turquoise vintage cabinet topped with white singing bowls and a turquoise Buddha statue. The room has a floor rug, a gray massage table with a pillow, and a rolled green blanket, creating a relaxing atmosphere.
A turquoise wooden cabinet with black handles and a decorative metal embellishment on the door, topped with a white fluffy cloth. Above the cabinet, on a shelf, are five metallic singing bowls, a purple candle, and a black lighter, against a white paneled wall.
A cozy sitting area with a wooden side table holding a potted plant, and a teal dresser with gold handles. An armchair covered with a black and white patterned cloth and a gray pillow sits by a window with white framing, letting in natural light. Small decorative brass bowls are atop the teal dresser.

One To One Sessions

  • Having sessions with Joa was such a nourishing and fun experience. She weaved togther a combination of practices including parts work, hypnotherapy and integral eye movement therpay to support me in overcoming perfectionist tendencies around sharing my music and being seen. Also using her crystal bowls and gong to assist in deep states of relaxation. I quickly noticed shifts in my confidence and ability to discern between perfectionist parts ruling the show and the genuine need for something to be improved and developed! Game changer! Joa genuinely cares about the development of her clients and I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a kind and supportive practitioner to help make a shift in their life.

  • “IEMT helped me process & release feelings associated with old memories, which has really helped me sleep. It was so powerful I’ve recommended it to family members.

    Sera

  • "An absolutely beautiful experience. I arrived feeling tense and highly strung, but from the moment the vibrations of the Tibetan bowls and gong started to wash over me, I felt a deep shift. The sounds seemed to transport me, washing away the tension and guiding me into a peaceful, nurturing space where I could just be. I left feeling lighter, clearer, and deeply relaxed and had the best night’s sleep I’d had in ages. A truly restorative experience I can’t recommend enough for anyone needing a reset for both mind, body and soul."

  • "I had a wonderful one to one sound healing session with Joa. I found the experience deeply relaxing and the use of the Himalayan singing bowls to massage my back and legs was incredibly powerful. The room was warm and inviting with gorgeous decor and delicious tea afterwards. It was my first experience of this treatment and it really helped me to release stored emotion which I wasn't expecting. I am going to include this treatment as part of my wellbeing practice from now on as I loved it so much."

  • “My chord cutting Hypnotherapy session enabled me to analyse my inner thoughts in a positive way and made problem-solving with difficult relationships so much easier to deal with. Joa also showed me techniques that have helped guide me out of a toxic relationship and remain mentally healthy. Each brought me closer to the real me.”

  • “I want to thank you for helping me stop my nail-picking habit. After one Hypnotherapy session I now have beautiful hands. I can paint my nails and wear rings I haven't been able to wear for fear of drawing attention to my hands. It has made such a difference to my confidence and professional appearance. Thank you so much.”

  • "What I experienced with Joa went far beyond physical healing. Through the deep, resonant sounds of the Tibetan bowls and her intuitive, compassionate presence, she helped me uncover the emotional root of my pain, grief and trauma I had unknowingly been holding in my shoulder from the loss of my mum and the traumatic passing of my dad. Since that session, my shoulder has felt lighter, freer, not just physically, but emotionally. Joa guided me to a kind of healing I didn’t even know I needed. Her work is powerful, sacred, and truly life-changing. I am so grateful for this journey."

  • “I believed that my fear of needles was incurable, but after one session of IEMT those past thoughts that would cause anxiety are just no longer present.”
